Our mission at Sharif Document Preparation is to offer clients flexible and affordable pricing options for professional document preparation, legal research, and pro se litigation support, all without the need for a lawyer. We strive to customize our services to meet each client’s unique needs, helping them navigate various real-life situations. We recognize the importance of delivering high-quality work while maintaining affordability. Our services are designed to provide support tailored to address our clients’ specific concerns, so we can work together to prepare the appropriate documents and conduct effective legal research as needed, based on the information the client provides.
To achieve this objective, we listen carefully to our clients’ concerns and draw on our general knowledge of various areas of law, as well as our experience with similar clients, to provide effective solutions. We conduct legal research on specific topics requested by clients and prepare documents and forms by entering their information into appropriate templates. In unique situations, we adapt these templates to create customized Word documents that meet the client’s specific objectives. We may provide clients with publicly available information on topics of concern, such as the documents required and the procedures for filing those documents. However, we will only do this in situations where no decision has yet been made regarding the filing. For instance, we may inform a client about the address where a document needs to be filed and the deadlines associated with that filing. This type of information is objective and can easily be found by anyone through basic internet searches. About Sharif
Sharif is a Navy veteran and skilled litigation support professional. He holds an Associate of Science degree in Public Safety and Legal Studies from St. Petersburg College (SPC) and a Legal Assistant certificate from Richland Community College in Dallas, Texas. In 2024, Sharif’s academic excellence was recognized by the faculty at St. Petersburg College with the Florence Ballenger LSC Achievement Award. Before founding his document preparation business in Dallas, Texas, in 2001, Sharif worked as a paralegal at the Southwest Law Center. He also served in various roles at the Pinellas County Public Defender’s Office, including as a client intake interviewer and criminal investigator. In the Spring of 2026, Sharif plans to pursue an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University, further expanding his academic knowledge and expertise, so that he can serve as a Veteran Court Advocate for the 6th Judicial Circuit Court.
Over the past three decades, Sharif has gained extensive experience in legal research and drafting a wide variety of legal documents, including those related to family law, civil litigation, demands for and responses to discovery, criminal and traffic matters, as well as real estate transactions. His work is particularly noteworthy for its deep personal connection to helping low-income individuals achieve the results or justice they might otherwise have been unable to obtain without his assistance.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Sharif is an enthusiastic poet and avid reader, and he is a fierce Scrabble player. He is also passionate about Texas country life, especially when it comes to family gatherings, hunting, country music, professional bull riding (PBR), and cheering on the Texas Longhorns football program. These diverse interests and experiences make Sharif a knowledgeable and welcoming advisor, providing helpful insight for personal and professional services.
